1970年兵庫県出身。大学時代、テキスタイルを専攻しながらも、映像や
パフォーマンス活動に力を入れ始める。卒業後、インテリアデザインの会社
でプランニングからアートディレクションまで担当していたが、その他に
自ら社内で部署を作り、デジタルコンテンツ業務を開始。この頃手掛けた作品
は、エンターテインメント性の高い新たな視点が評価され、幾つもの賞を獲得、
一躍話題になる。1999年に独立し上京。テレビメディアからゲームコンテンツ、
アニメーション等で活動。併行してグラフィックデザインも手掛けていた。
その後2001年に法人化し、デザイン会社の代表となる。
多岐に渡る経験値がグラフィックとしてバランスを取るのではなく、
表現活動として全ての経験的欲望を吐露したオリジナル作風を2004年頃
から展開。新たな表現活動として刺繍＋シルクスクリーンを用いて展示活動
をスタート。刺繍という概念ではなく、あくまで糸としての存在に着目し、
作品を構築する活動は、法人ではなく、個人として歩み出した新たな
エンターテインメントでもあり、コミュニケーションとしても国内外多くの
メディアから賞賛される。
近年は、この作品に映像を組み合わせるなど、メディアアートとしての
作風も見られはじめ、今後の展開に注目が集まっている。
Born in 1970 in Hyogo Prefecture, Japan. Taku Anekawa began to make
efforts on movie and performing projects while majoring textile at the
university. After graduation, he worked for an interior design company
taking charge from planning to art direction, and additionally started
the digital contents business establishing an in-house department
himself. His projects there with a new aspect and full of entertainment
were highly evaluated, acquired many prizes and suddenly got into the
news. He became independent from the company and moved to Tokyo in 1999,
then worked for TV media, game contents, animation, as well as graphic
design. He incorporated in 2001, and he became the head ot the design
company. His various experience has not lead to a concentration on
graphics, but transformed into his original style pouring out all his
creative desire around 2004. He started exhibition activities using
embroidery and silk screen as new creative works. His working process
which paid attention not to the concept of embroidery but to the
existence of the string itself is an entertainment which began to exist
not as a corporation but an individual, and also as a communication, it
has been praised from a lot of both domestic and foreign media. In
recent years, he has started showing the style of media art by combining
movies with works, and is gaining attention for future projects.
